Terms & Conditions

Last updated 1 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply when you request a quote from, or engage, Shower Screen Replacement ("we", "us", "our") to supply and install shower screens. By requesting a quote or accepting one, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Quotes and pricing

  • Quotes are based on the information, photos and measurements you provide and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Final pricing is confirmed after an on-site measure, as openings, access and substrates can differ from photos.
  • Prices include GST unless stated otherwise.

Orders, deposits and payment

  • An accepted quote and any required deposit confirm your order and authorise us to begin manufacturing.
  • Because screens are custom-made to your opening, deposits cover materials and fabrication and may be non-refundable once manufacturing has started.
  • The balance is payable on completion of installation unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Site access and installation

  • You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area on the agreed date.
  • Walls, tiles and surfaces must be sound and finished; we are not responsible for pre-existing defects in the substrate.
  • We will take reasonable care during installation and leave the area clean and tidy.

Warranty and consumer guarantees

Our products and workmanship come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You can learn more about these guarantees from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and at consumer.gov.au.

Any additional manufacturer or installation warranty we offer is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Glass and product notes

  • Toughened safety glass may contain minor surface or edge characteristics that are within Australian Standards and not considered defects.
  • Slight variations in colour, finish and hardware are normal and not grounds for rejection where they meet the relevant standard.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to re-supplying the goods or services, or paying the cost of doing so. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancellations and changes

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Once custom manufacturing has commenced, cancellation may incur costs already reasonably incurred by us.
